On September 20, 2024, Mayor Jay Ruais announced his commitment to effectively end veteran homelessness in Manchester by 2026. A coalition of veteran service providers, landlords and the mayor’s office are aggressively tackling this initiative, moving dozens of unhoused veterans into permanent housing to date.
